What Is Enamel?
Enamel is the hard, white outer layer that covers each tooth. It is the strongest and most mineralized substance in the human body, even stronger than bone. Its primary role is to protect the underlying layers of the tooth—namely the dentin and the pulp—from damage caused by chewing, biting, grinding, and exposure to acidic or sugary substances. This natural barrier is essential for maintaining both the function and longevity of your teeth.
Despite being incredibly durable, enamel is not invincible. Because it doesn’t contain living cells, it cannot regenerate once it has been worn away or damaged. What Enamel Is Made Of

Enamel and Cosmetic Treatments
