Before we extract the tooth, we perform a thorough examination of the tooth and its surroundings. X-rays may be necessary to assess the roots and position of the tooth.
Local anaesthesia
We make sure you are fully anaesthetised so you don’t feel any pain during the tooth extraction.
The extraction itself
The tooth is gently detached from the bone and we ensure the procedure is as gentle as possible. Depending on the condition of the tooth, a small surgical procedure may be necessary, especially if the tooth is broken or cannot be easily removed.
Aftercare
Once the tooth has been removed, we make sure the wound is closed and we give you thorough guidance on how to best care for it during the healing period.
